Tungsten Pancora
Couldn't load pickup availability
A heavily weighted crayfish-style streamer designed to imitate the pancora, a freshwater crustacean found in Patagonia. The tungsten weight helps the fly sink quickly and stay near the bottom, where crayfish naturally move. It can be fished by dead-drifting, bouncing along the bottom, or stripping it like a traditional streamer.
The Tungsten Pancora is particularly suited to trout fishing, but its crayfish profile also makes it a useful pattern for bass and other freshwater predators. MFC currently lists the pattern in Olive.

Uptide Take
When trout are looking down, this is the kind of fly you want getting into the zone. The tungsten weight gets it down quickly, while the crayfish profile gives you a natural option when bigger trout are feeding close to the bottom.
