MAXXON Slim Fly Reel

The MAXXON SLIM is a lightweight, low-profile fly reel designed to complement a wide range of 2 WT through 6 WT fly rods. Whether you're fishing bamboo, glass, or graphite, the SLIM is built for anglers who value a lightweight setup and the simplicity of a traditional click-and-pawl reel.

CNC machined from solid 6061-T6 aluminum, the SLIM combines modern manufacturing with an old-school click-and-pawl system. By eliminating bulky drag components, bearings, and their housings, MAXXON was able to create an exceptionally slim profile measuring less than one and one-half inches wide. The small-arbor design keeps the reel compact, while the 2/3/4 size weighs just over 3 ounces and the larger 4/5/6 size comes in just under 3.5 ounces.

The SLIM is available in two sizes and two hard-anodized finishes. Graphite Gray provides a modern, understated look, while Polished Silver offers a classic finish that works with just about any fly rod. Every SLIM is backed by MAXXON's lifetime warranty and customer support.
