MAXXON SDP Fly Reel

The MAXXON SDP is a fully sealed, fully machined fly reel built specifically to handle demanding coastal and saltwater conditions. Its hard-coat-anodized construction provides protection against the elements, while the stealth black and smoke silver finish helps minimize reflection when you're on the water.

At the heart of the SDP is MAXXON's Tuff Torque center-shaft system, which locks precisely into the spool to provide the fighting power needed when explosive fish make their first run. The fully sealed design keeps the reel's drag system protected in harsh saltwater environments while maintaining smooth, dependable performance.

The SDP also features MAXXON's TRAXX cap system. The interchangeable numbered caps secure the spool to the reel frame with an internal O-ring system while making it easy to identify the line weight loaded on each spool. No stickers or permanent markings are needed, so your line weight stays clearly identified over time.
