Kaufmann’s Stone Fly – Brown (#6)

The Kaufmann’s Stone Fly – Brown is a heavyweight stonefly nymph designed to imitate the larger stoneflies that can bring big fish to the bottom during early-season activity. Its substantial profile and weighted construction make it well suited for deep runs and fast current where reaching feeding fish is critical.

The rich brown segmented body and mottled wing case create a natural stonefly profile that fits a variety of freestone and tailwater environments. A strong barbed hook and durable construction make it capable of handling hard strikes from trout, smallmouth bass, and steelhead.

Fish it on deep nymphing rigs through heavy current, deep seams, and other areas where larger fish are holding.
