Jig Montana Sally

A compact jig-style Yellow Sally nymph built to get down quickly and stay in the zone. The Jig Montana Sally uses a tungsten bead, slim wire body, biot tail, dark wingcase, and bright yellow thorax to imitate immature Yellow Sally stoneflies. The jig hook rides point-up, making it especially useful around rocky bottoms and faster water while reducing snagging.

This is a great little point fly when Yellow Sallies are around. The tungsten bead gets it down, the jig hook helps it work through rocky water, and the bright yellow thorax gives trout a clear Yellow Sally profile.
