Cortland Saltwater Nylon Tapered Leader

Built for saltwater anglers who need reliable turnover and control in demanding conditions, the Cortland Saltwater Nylon Tapered Leader uses a medium-stiff nylon construction designed to handle wind and deliver flies with authority.

The aggressive taper helps transfer energy through the leader for positive turnover, while the abrasion-resistant material and strong knot performance provide confidence when you're fishing around structure and targeting powerful saltwater species. A pre-tied perfection loop makes connecting the leader quick and straightforward.

Uptide Take

Saltwater leaders need to turn over big flies when the wind isn't cooperating. The aggressive taper and stiffer nylon make this a solid choice when you need your fly to get out there cleanly and your leader to hold up once you're around fish and structure.
