Cortland Micron Backing 20 lb

Cortland Micron 20 lb is a versatile fly-line backing built for dependable performance across a wide range of freshwater and lighter saltwater setups. Made from premium Dacron fibers, its tight 12-carrier round braid creates a smooth, consistent profile that packs evenly onto the reel and handles cleanly when a fish takes you into the backing.

The stretch-resistant construction, zero-twist handling, and reliable knot performance make Micron a proven choice for anglers who want straightforward, dependable backing without unnecessary complexity. The 20 lb strength is well suited to trout, bass, warmwater species, and lighter saltwater applications where you want plenty of backing capacity without adding unnecessary bulk.
